My mother-in-law who is a Reiki grandmaster and a motivational speaker with a huge fan following has had the most influence on me in my spiritual journey. She told me about an experience I can never forget. She always says ” Do not utter anything that you don’t want to happen even as a joke. The mind does not have a sense of humor. It cannot differentiate between a joke and reality.” She gave me an example of a lady who had shared with her during her counseling session that she had finally realized her mistake and now she knows why her daughter is suffering.

She narrated that her daughter was very beautiful as a child and she was proud of it but also thought that because she is so pretty she might be a victim of others’ Evil eyes. So whenever anyone inquired about her daughter, she would say that she was not keeping too well, she was sick, even though she was healthy. Her daughter heard her mother say this throughout her childhood. The situation now is that her daughter as an adult is bedridden.

It is very important what words you say and what pictures you show to yourself. As Marisa says “Your mind does not care if what you tell it is good, bad, true, false, healthy, unhealthy, right or wrong it accepts and acts on your words regardless”. It also cannot differentiate between a thought and an experience. Whatever you think, the mind feels is happening.

This superpower of our thoughts and words can be used for our healing. The Mind believes whatever we tell it. This is what we do in RTT when we command the cells to go back to their original blueprint. We remind the cells that they are capable of healing themselves. Remember when we get a cut, the skin heals all by itself. Every single day there are so many cells getting repaired in our body without any conscious contribution from us. Every cell has an intelligence of its own. In command cell therapy which is done with the patient in hypnosis, we remind the cells of their Intelligence and how they are capable of going back to their original function and blueprint.
